Below is an email sent from Rapture to BSkyB in December 2006. At the time, Sky had just sent out a document detailing new EPG charges, which took affect from January 2007. The document confirmed that an EPG listing cost just £14,000 per year, which Rapture was prepared to pay.

However, the document also contained details of a 'platform contribution charge', which ranged from £65,000 up to over £6 million per year depending on the channel. Rapture strongly objected to this and asked Sky to explain the methodology it had used to calculate these prices. Sky refused to provide any details.
