The Planetlove Summer Session returns to Fairyhouse Racecourse on summer solstice, June 21st, loaded up with a stunning array of some of dance and electronica’s finest artists.

Ferry Corsten, Audio Bullys, Josh Wink, Eddie Halliwell, Joey Beltram, Marco V, Judge Jules, Babyshambles’ Adam Ficek, The Advent, Judge Jules, Utah Saints, Altern 8, Mauro Picotto, Ben Sims, The Cuban Brothers, The Horrors DJ set and Lisa Lashes, are just a few of over one hundred national and international club-world superstars lined up for the mid-summer, 12-hour extravaganza!

Fairyhouse Racecourse in Ratoath, County Meath, has been christened the official home of the Planetlove Summer Session, which sold out last year.

Seven arenas – all under canvass – will feature at the festival this year.

LOVE in association with RTE 2FM is the main arena, while last year’s tech-driven Collective Music arena returns, as does house-music-led Pukka Up. A few new hosts appear in the form of hard-dance purveyors Polysexual, and a chillout stage with Psychonavigation. Irish old skool brand Rendezvous hosts the Old Skool/New Skool arena, in association with Slick DJ Magazine, while the VIP area – headlined by Peaches Geldof and her TTA Project – is hosted by Ibizan party organisation GoodforNothing.

Over 30 of Ireland’s finest DJs have been awarded a set at this year’s festival – this is testimony to the event’s dedication to supporting and showcasing Irish talent

The groundbreaking festival is the result of the marriage of Irish dance music powerhouse Planetlove (who this year celebrate their tenth anniversary), and 2FM Sessions Tour.

"It is fantastic to bring Planetlove back to Fairyhouse,” said co promoter Eddie Wray. “This year will be bigger and better. We can concentrate entirely on one event rather than being split between two shows on the same day like last year. We will deliver all the latest exciting trimmings and Planetlove razzmatazz in fine style!”

2FM will be broadcasting live from the event throughout the day, as well as recording some sets for future broadcast.

Dublin Bus will be running a bus service from Parnell Square to Fairyhouse – check official website www.planetlovemusic.com for more information about this service.
